THERE ARE A FEW WAYS IN WHICH TO UTILIZE OUR MUSIC:

PER USE BASIS
The most common method of music usage is on “A Per Use Basis”.  Your payment for use of the music is based on the number of 30 second segments used in a production.  This 30 second rate will vary according to the type of production it is (Radio Commercial, Radio Program, Free-TV Program, etc.) and where it is being shown (Canada, USA, World).  The various rates of payment are outlined on our Rates Schedule, which can be obtained by contacting us at info@musicpeople.net or calling us at 1-877-920-6746.  “Per Use” requires you submit a cue sheet to the Music People with all the musical information (Tracks used, duration of each track, production title, etc.) in your production.  You can find an online Music Cue Sheet at this website.

ANNUAL BLANKET LICENCE
Another method of music usage is an “Annual Blanket Licence”.  You can negotiate with us an annual payment to have unlimited access to all the music available on our site.  Please note that in most cases, we limit Blanket Licences to clients doing Non-Broadcast or Regional productions (Schools, Local Cable, Local TV and Radio Stations, Wedding Video Companies, etc.).
With a Blanket, if you prefer, you can also obtain a number of compact discs from us and have unlimited use of all the music on those discs.  The discs you receive would contain musical selections suited to your musical requests, ie. you only need corporate music for your corporate videos, so we would supply you with discs of corporate music only.

PRODUCTION BLANKETS
For those clients doing feature films, TV series and such, we do offer “Production Blankets”.  Contact us and we can negotiate a rate that can cover unlimited use of music in a feature film or TV programs with a number of episodes, etc.  Again, you would have unlimited access to all the music available on our site or you can obtain CDs.

SOCAN - IMPORTANT INFORMATION
If your production is scheduled for broadcast or theatrical use (utilizing any of the three methods above), a copy of all the music details must be sent to SOCAN (41 Valleybrook Drive, Don Mills, Ontario M3B 2S6) on a SOCAN Music Cue Sheet
